LIMBO is a 45.6 Heritage West Indies vessel, designed by Charlie Morgan. She was manufactured in 1978 in Clearwater, Florida. She has been a very comfortable home for us and has provided us a way to see so much of the world. LIMBO is clean, roomy, and cheerful inside. Not just a home away from home, but indeed she is a home. it is lying in Netzel Marina, Marmaris, Turkey.
Designed for blue water cruising. Cutter rigged, insures easy handling by a couple. At 46 feet and 15.5 beam, Limbo has room for a full set of spares, charts and 6 months of provisions. Two staterooms with two heads, insuring privacy for 2 couples.
There is a spacious vee-berth with ample storage and a separate gear locker. The salon area is light and airy and has new cushions. The galley is really easy to work in and is a U-shaped configuration with deep double stainless steel sinks and a Force 10 cooking stove. I make all our bread and do a lot of cooking. We rebuilt and insulated the ice box area and installed a new Adler-Barber Super-Cold machine in 1999. It also has a 110-12 volt refrigerator.
The captain's cabin is very roomy and elicits comments like "It's as big as our bedroom at home!" It has a queen size bed with lots of storage underneath and hanging lockers. It has a separate head, sink and a it's own full-sized shower.
It's really hard to accurately describe the comfort and conveniences found throughout LIMBO.
